Business Development Officer, Lead Generation

Responsibilities: 

  • Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
  • Make and give presentations to prospective clients
  • Develop and implement the business development and sales strategy of Embiggen Consulting
  • Report to the Revenue Operations Manager
  • Conduct lead generation through various platforms and qualify these leads for learning and consulting sub-departments
  • Create lead generation plans and execute them
  • Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed
  • Attend discovery calls

An ideal candidate ideally matches most, if not all, of the criteria below:

  • At least 1 year experience in business development, sales, or similar line of work (preferably in a consulting and/or training context)
  • Strong experience working in operational, strategy, or execution roles covering local and international clients
  • Has an appetite for innovation and intellectual curiosity to discern client’s needs and recommend the most solution across Embiggen’s suite of capabilities
  • We are a start-up company—having said this, we need someone who can thrive in this organized chaos, is flexible, and can initiate plans to get the ball rolling as quickly as possible!
